I am a partner with Hardee Scarlett PLLC specializing in all family law matters. I have practiced family law in the Treasure Valley for the past 16 years. My wife, Danielle Scarlett, and I started Hardee Scarlett to help others with their family law matters and guide them through the process. I have two adult children of my own and spent 16 years during their youth coaching youth sports including football, basketball, and baseball. I recognize that children are our most valuable resource and feel there is no higher calling than advocating for the best interests of children. My undergraduate degree is in Civil Engineering, and my previous work experience includes employment as a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch and as a mortgage originator at Countrywide Home Loans. My passion is advocating for children. My education and past work experience make me uniquely qualified to represent parties in divorce cases involving custody disputes and complex property settlements.

Danielle Scarlett

I am a 4th generation Idahoan and 3rd generation Boise High grad. I have been an attorney for 25 years and have practiced family law for over 15 years. I began my legal career at the Canyon County Prosecutor's Office. After my younger daughter was born in 2007, I opened my own practice in Nampa, Idaho. I closed my practice in 2022 and spent a few years working for the State Public Defender's Office defending juvenile clients before returning to family law in January 2026. On June 1, 2026, my husband Greg Hardee and I started Hardee Scarlett PLLC. I have worked with children throughout the majority of my career through family law, child protection cases, guardian ad litem appointments, and juvenile defense. My ultimate goal in custody cases is to get my clients and their families through the court system swiftly and fairly so they can begin their new normal and focus on life outside of the court process. I have two adult children, two adult stepchildren, and a menagerie of pets.
